Well, we brought Taylor home and no major problems at all. The main thing is Daisy started stressing out a bunch b/c of all of the company that was in and out. A little bit of puppy prozac fixed her right up. Then, one day Steve came by. Daisy was up on the back of the chair and he bends down to kiss Taylor or something as he was leaving. Daisy popped up and bit him on the nose! Literally drew blood. And for any of you that know my father in law and are concerned, yes, Daisy is still alive!! Ha ha.
So, we started watching Daisy - she was the total opposite of what we thought - she was OVERLY protective of Taylor. It was the cutest thing. She didn't want people getting around her. Laid by her, slept with her when she was in the floor. Wanted to be around her all of the time. I of course, could not be more happy.
Here we are 2 years later, and Taylor and Daisy are still best buds. Taylor loves Daisy and loves getting kisses from her. Daisy has gotten used to the company and the family so she is not protective around them like she was. We are also off of the puppy prozac! I am just waiting for Taylor to want Daisy to sleep with her.
Anyway, the point to this long story is that our worries were for not b/c both Chloe and Daisy have adjusted rather well to our little girl. Chloe is kind of a hag and has snapped at her b/c she likes to be left alone. So, Taylor has figured this out and doesn't have much to do with Chloe. About the only thing is she does play fetch with her.
Last night after dinner, Taylor said that she wanted to take a picture with Daisy so I ran and got the camera, enjoy!

So cute! I totally understand about the dogs being your babies too. Tucker is like Daisy, a big baby! So far so good with both of them :)
